When we read the book of Revelation, we should focus on three things in order to get what Revelation is talking about and understand what it does not tell us.

The main focus of Revelation is about how Jesus is glorious in terms of his power, his position and his role in three parts
First, it is about who Jesus is meaning Jesus is the firstborn from the dead. Revelation tells us we should have the hope of resurrection and we should live with this hope and faith in this generation.
Second, it is abot Jesus is the faithful witness. Jesus showed the example to the Church through his death. Therefore, the church has to follow Jesus’ footsteps as of importance.
Third, it says Jesus is the head of all kings of the world. Jesus holds the most power over the kings of the world and has authority over all authorites on earth. At last, Jesus will overcome the world and be victorious for the church and for those who in faith. This is our hope and encouragement in enduring all hardships of life and all persecution from the enemy we can continue living as a Christian.

John, the Baptist, proclaimed to the people of Israel, saying “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.”

When he said this, this does not mean actually that we have to dealing with our own sins and sinful life. What this meant was that we must turn to God from the way of life being without God and being ourselves as our life’s owner to acknowledge of God is owner of our life and acceptance of being united with God again. This is to change of the relationship with God if we were apart from God into the close relationship with God.
When he said this, he was talking about how God has done his work to save mankinds from the separation with him. In that sense, his proclamation is revealing how it is wonderful and grandeous to see that God has been prepared the way of salvation and now he send his one and only son Jesus to die on the cross.
This is an amazing and wonderful message to hear for all. God made his own highway for men to save from the eternal destruction derived by the separation from God and make men as his own children to be with Him forever.

The most important thing in life of faith is having the very ears and eyes to hear the voice talking from inside of me which is the whisper of the Holy Spirit God has breathed into me. By noticing the voice of God’s speaking to me in the presence and the help of the Holy Spirit, I will be able to find the true God who is dwelling in me. By this way, I can find God in me so that I may live and walk with God daily.

I have been studying the word of God in UBF since 1987. In fact, it is now more than 20 years I am studying Bible. In UBF each year a book of Bible almost has been repeated so that, for example, Genesis and John have been studied several times. As a result, I also and other members may think we know very well about the word of God and many things regarding spirtiual matters.
In reality, I am walking in the midst of unclearness of knowing the word of God. There are many questions I could not get the right answers or views on Bible which seem no way to get it in UBF.
So I am trying to do my own in studying Bible denying the teachings of UBF in order to know the word of God better .

Whatever started have to come to an end. After 20 years, I am wandering what I want to do or what I am here for, although I am absolutely sure for the love of God to me. Recently I am talking with Ruth much about our life journey as we have been chosen and sent by the will of God.

What I am serious about is that what would be the ultimate goals for those who from the campus will accept the Gospel that how they might live their life as the people of God with the Jesus’ teaching in this society. This came to me because I began realizing that UBF is missing something in serving campus mission.
